A huge congratulations to the guys at New Wave for this months' incredible installation.

The original brief was to install a whole home control & AV system for a new build family home. The audio system was a major part of the system and comprised of 22 rooms across the property. Two rooms were highlighted as Premium Audio Video Zones with Artcoustic loudspeakers specified in both rooms.

The key to setting the right tone and atmosphere in the cinema room was very important for the client. They wanted a space that was comfortable and functional to their needs. The team at Audio Feeling struck the perfect balance, giving the client full control over mood lighting, whilst offering a fully immersive cinema experience with Dolby Atmos, featuring Artcoustic loudspeakers.

The end result is a stunning space for the family to spend quality time together and experience home cinema at its best.

New Wave AV

A 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos TV media room was installed in the main reception room with colour-matched Artcoustic SL 6-3 speakers, a custom-width SL Multi Soundbar, SL Targets and SL Architect 2-1s. 2 x Sub 1 subwoofers were installed into the floor to keep the AV as discrete as possible. Subwoofers were fitted with colour matched grills in keeping with ironmongery already present in the room.

A Future Automation motorised bracket ensures that the TV is at the correct viewing angle whenever required. Audio calibration using the Anthem Arc Genesis software was carried out to ensure maximum audio performance. Finally, two profile settings were created; one with curtains open and one with curtains closed. The control system automatically selects the correct profile depending on whether the curtains are open or closed.

The most successful element of the installation was the two Sub1 subwoofers in the floor. This allowed for great bass performance with no impact on the look of the room.

Artcoustic was the perfect product for this project because the client wanted great performance that could be discretely installed. The shallow depth of the front speakers worked really well whilst the colour options allowed for both the speaker cabinets and screens to be colour matched with the hearth below the TV.
