Scandinavian’s Finest –Artcoutic Loudspeakers in Stylish Stockholm
Stockholmers are known for their penchant for style and design. Therefore it comes as no surprise that the owners of this elegant flat would select Artcoustic as their speakers of choice. Located on prestigious Strandvaagen, the house is a Swedish classic - built at the turn of the century.
When the owners decided to renovate their home, it was their wish to include a room that would be used for the family’s central point of entertainment. Their demand for a high end audio system that would be accommodated in a contemporary space without sacrificing performance was at the top of their wish list. The room had to be cool with a relaxed space for entertaining as well as include a top of the line home cinema system. The owners wanted this to be their “playroom” and the audio system had to be of the highest standard and complement the room’s interior. The owners selected experts Living Rooms to help them realize their dream. Upon seeing the interior, Living Rooms immediately selected Artcoustic Loudspeakers and presented them to their clients at their showroom. The owners were not only amazed by the speakers’ performance but the fact that the front of the speakers featured interchangeable screens.

The renovation took one year and the elements of art, architecture, and interior design are so masterfully blended in this renovated home resulting in perfect harmony between modern and classical European design. All the Artcoustic loudspeakers have been partially recessed into the walls giving them the perfect look of framed pictures. An Artcoustic DFS100-75X2, a powerful subwoofer, is elegantly wall mounted with a beautiful print from Getty Images on the screen above an ornate antique table. A set of Artcoustic DFF120-43 X2 speakers hang beautifully along the wall. In between a Pioneer 50 inch HD plasma screen had been mounted on a motorised plasma lift from Future Automation and built into a custom made setting that can automatically be raised up for the owners to view and lowered when it is not in use. However, the real movie experience begins at the push of a button. Once the plasma screen is lowered into its setting, a motorized 3 meter wide projection screen comes down from the ceiling, motorized blinds are lowered over the windows, the InFocus video projector is switched on and the owners are given the ultimate cinematic experience. For the center channel an Artcoustic DF-Multi X2 50 inch speaker, employed as a dedicated centre channel, has also been beautifully integrated within the custom made setting along with a set of Artcoustic Diablo Monitor X2 speakers to complete the surround sound. All the technology has been remotely controlled by Nevo. The owners are pleased with their “playroom” and Living Rooms professional expertise.

Featuring a high performance horn loaded tweeter together with 6 x 10” bass units, this model is capable of stunning performance, easily exceeding reference pressure levels with a maximum output of 122dB. Artcoustic UK are proud to announce the opening of their new UK Headquarters: a beautiful training and demonstration facility destined to lead the industry in audio education and design.
This brand new facility will showcase the company’s state-of-the-art high-end audio solutions to their exclusive dealers, consultants, architects, interior designers and end users. The headquarters features Artcoustic’s full range of products amongst top of the line furnishings ensuring a total Artcoustic experience in both residential and commercial room sets.
