Congratulations to Luke, Wayne, Wes and the team at Living Home Tech for this month’s Installation Of The Month.

The client came to Living Home Tech with a simple brief – to transform an unused room into a fully immersive, ‘proper’ home cinema – something the client and his son had always dreamed of having in their home.

All cinemas that make it into IOTM are designed to meet Dolby Atmos industry standards, and this 7.2.2 home cinema was no exception. Our collaborative design process includes checking angles and locations for each speaker, screen size, subwoofer locations (room modes), and dynamic range. Our in-house generated heat maps show frequency response and output SPL consistency for each seating location.

The design of the space was created by the Living Home Tech team in-house, after working together with the client to create the look and feel they desired. The client was introduced to Artcoustic and absolutely loved what he heard – your ears don't lie!

The highlight of the project included the LED profile that was custom-made to fit the curved bay window and continue on the linear lighting feature throughout the space.
