THIS MONTH’S WINNER REDEFINES LUXURY HOME ENTERTAINMENT
Congratulations to Chris and the entire team at Home & Yacht Controls for being awarded our June Installation of the Month! For this project, the client wanted a dedicated space to unwind after a busy day a personal retreat that could also be enjoyed by the whole family on weekends.
Home & Yacht Controls worked closely with MYO Interiors to design a dual-height seating solution that also integrates a bar and fridge.
A 9.2.2 Dolby Atmos configuration was chosen, made possible by a suitable budget and a room layout that, despite a few challenges, allowed for an advanced and immersive setup.
The subwoofers were placed at the rear and subtly integrated into the furniture. When asked which part of Artcoustic’s design support proved most valuable, the client highlighted following:

The system featured:
· Spitfire A6 speakers at the front
· Evolve 2-1 speakers for side and surround channels
· Architect 2-1 speakers mounted in the ceiling
· Sub 2 subwoofers for low-frequency performance
An Anthem MRX amplifier, repurposed from the client’s previous property, is powering the system. Video is delivered by a new 4K Epson laser projector with content from Apple TV and Sky TV.
