MEDITATIONS IN EMERGENCY
DURING THIS WEEKS 3DAYSOFDESIGN IN COPENHAGEN WE ARE EXPLORING THE TENSION BETWEEN EXTERNAL NOISE AND INNER STILLNESS.
In a society shaped by acceleration, distraction and visual overload, the exhibition at New Works, considers what it means to make space for attention through a sequence of carefully composed rooms.
Each room marks a distinct shift in atmosphere, rhythm and attention. The exhibition alternates between monumentality and intimacy, openness and concentration, creating a progression shaped as much by perception as by objects themselves.

WHEN SOUND MEETS DESIGN
In a carefully curated interior, every element contributes to the overall atmosphere. By integrating the loudspeakers visually into the space, sound becomes part of the design language rather than a technical distraction. The result is a more cohesive, immersive environment where guests can focus on the experience, not the technology behind it.
In the Champagne Bar, the loudspeakers have been colour-matched to the surrounding walls and interior palette, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the architecture. Rather than standing out as visible audio equipment, they become a discreet part of the space while still delivering high-performance sound.

Artcoustic loudspeakers can be customised in virtually any colour, finish or print to complement the interior design scheme. This flexibility allows designers to either make the loudspeakers disappear into the architecture or use them as intentional design features. The benefit is complete creative freedom - achieving exceptional sound quality without compromising the visual integrity of the space.
A CURATED SOUNDSCAPE WITHIN THE NEW WORKS RESIDENCE
Curated and performed live by Paris-born sound artist Cédric Elisabeth, and presented through Artcoustic Loudspeakers, a 15-minute live listening session offered a focused pause within the exhibition, inviting visitors to slow down and notice how sound can shape the way we perceive a space.
The experience took the form of a subtle and atmospheric listening session designed to draw attention inward and invite a heightened sense of presence.
